Another day, another breath, another thought, another touch, another cool breeze, another moment that stops with your heart pounding, another tear, another laugh, another intimate moment, another life, another death, drink, whisper. All of this and much more is filling this day for each and every one of us and in a flash it stops with our eyes closing at night. With God’s grace we get to experience it again tomorrow so show him you are grateful and show others the same thing. Let God bleed through and be proud to be his creation cause he is proud of you always. Being proud of yourself is being proud of your maker.

I had a really good week as far as eating goes, a couple of meals with some starches but not very much. I can tell you it seemed to be that my performances were enhanced just because of what I ate and what I put in my body.

Some of us workout just to eat what we want, WRONG! In almost every way I can think of, by doing this you will NOT stay the same but yet digress. The more you become active the more your body requests that you consume, the good stuff.

Whats the good stuff? Vegetables, greens, meats, nuts and seeds and some fruits. The bad? Grains and sugar primarily; that’s your breads, rice, beans, and processed plastic they call food. You sometimes have to reach for what you cant see in order to have excellence. Everyday we go through life thinking of what the day has in store but we really don’t know. The time we have is only now this very moment which means we have to use it to the fullest. Not one minute should go by that we don’t strive to be the best person that we can be educationally, physically, and spiritually. In the same breath we should exhale “morality” in doing so. It all goes hand in hand. Good things never come easy and great things become arduous, but that doesn’t mean quit. We must challenge are self each and everyday and when life becomes strenuous or unyielding it only means were on the verge of greatness. What do you consider to be pain? Your not the only one who deals with pain, and not that your pain is of no importance but put it into perspective. What we feel on a day to to day basis is just that, day to day. Nothing good happens over night and nothing bad is corrected instantly, it’s step by step and done in a positive perspective, it could be worse. When I feel out of the zone and the wheels fall off, I try to help the next person, it helps me with the perspective aspect. If I can get through my worse day well I must have something to offer to the next person dealing with their worse day. It’s not just about me, pain for one1 can be felt through a community. Put your hand out, you will be surprised who grabs a hold. A stranger, a friend, a family member, or it could be a hand to pull you along when you need it. Do your part, step up.

Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have – life itself.
